DiSCovery is a behavioral assessment tool based on the DISC personality profile system that categorizes human behavior into four primary personality styles. Dominance (D), Influence (I), Steadiness (S), and Compliant (C). The program is based on the work of psychologist William Moulton Marston, who developed a system to easily understand and describe human behavior in terms of these four personality traits. Participants take a short DISCovery personality assessment to determine where they fit into the four main personality reference styles. The short personality assessment takes around 20 minutes to complete. Upon completion partcipants receive a personalized profile that unlocks their unique behavioral style. They learn better strategies for engaging with others, satisfying their own needs, and the environment that best fits their own personality.
DISCovery is widely used by organizations and companies for organizational development, leadership training, sales force training, team building, and communication workshops.
Individuals gain valuable insights into their communication preferences, behavioral tendencies, and approaches to problem-solving. With this insight, participants gain a common language they can use to better understand themselves as well as a new tool to better interface with others. The end result is a reduction in conflicts, improved working relationships, and an increase in employee satisfaction.
The J Sadler Group has now made its DISCovery program available for Family & Friends with its Family & Friends Get-Togethers. Have a small group of under 15 people? Use the program to liven up a party. Or simply use the program to increase the awareness of your own family's dynamics.
Invite your friends over for a DISCovery party. Or, just make it a family affair. Either way, participating in the DISCovery Family & Friends Get-Togethers is a fun way to learn about each other and liven up any event.
